About Me
I took my first yoga class about fifteen years ago, and noticed immediately how it affected how I felt, both emotionally and physically. I was more relaxed and felt balanced and stretched in a way that I had never achieved in the gym. It took a few more years until I was practising regularly, but the most noticeable difference for me came at a time when my job was very stressful. The hour I spent in my yoga class was the only time where I managed to ‘not think’, allowing my mind a total break from work. I left every class feeling like a different person; relaxed and re-energised.
I came to Dahab in March 2008 to learn to teach yoga, and in a couple of weeks had fallen in love with the town, the desert, the diving and the people. I then went back to South London and ran yoga classes in Clapham for a while before moving to Dahab permanently. I am very lucky to have been able to continue my passion for teaching yoga here in Dahab, and to have experienced some of the best snorkelling and diving in the world.
A qualified (ITEC) massage therapist for over ten years and member of the Complementary Therapists Association, I also wanted to be able to use my massage skills on a more full-time basis and now freelance as a therapist in Dahab.
