Style of Yoga

I teach principally in the Sivananda style but mix elements of various styles to suit the class.
Classes begin with an explanation of breathing techniques and relaxation, followed by gentle stretching and a warm up, before moving on to the yoga asanas or postures. There is a guided relaxation at the end of each class so that participants can learn techniques to help them de-stress and re-energise.
This is a fairly slow-paced class and is a good place for beginners to learn basic poses and become comfortable with yoga. For those who are more experienced, you will be able to move further into postures and stretches, advancing your regular practice. Although slow-paced, the benefits are wide reaching – you will feel stronger, more flexible, and visibly more relaxed.
